About PhysioFinder

South Africa's independent physiotherapy practice directory. Free to use, comprehensive, and unbiased.

What We Do

PhysioFinder is an independent online directory of physiotherapy practices across South Africa. We help patients find physiotherapists by location, specialisation, and medical aid acceptance — so you can make an informed choice before booking an appointment.

We are not a physiotherapy practice. We do not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or treat patients. Our role is to make it easier for you to find and compare physiotherapy practices in your area.

Our Mission

Finding the right physiotherapist in South Africa often means relying on word of mouth, outdated directories, or generic search results that prioritise paid ads over relevance. Many patients end up at the nearest practice rather than the best fit for their specific needs.

We built PhysioFinder so you can search by what matters: location, specialisation (sports injuries, paediatrics, orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation), and whether a practice accepts your medical aid. Research first, then book.

How It Works

1
We research practices

Practice data is gathered from public sources — Google Maps, practice websites, professional directories, and HPCSA records. We verify details where possible and update regularly.

2
You browse and compare

Search by province, city, or specialisation. Filter by medical aid acceptance. Compare practices side by side before making contact.

3
Contact practices directly

Once you have found a practice that suits your needs, contact them directly via phone, email, or their website. The relationship is between you and the practice.

Independence and Accuracy

  • We do not accept payment for organic rankings. Premium listings are clearly labelled and separate from standard results.
  • We do not endorse or recommend any specific practice. Listings are informational only.
  • Practice information is sourced from public records. If something is incorrect, practitioners or patients can request a correction.
  • PhysioFinder is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for diagnosis and treatment.
